Oral Presentation Task 1. Traditions


Objectives

- To create a presentation in groups about customs and traditions all over the world

- To expose an argumentative test in favour or against a given tradition

- To train oral exposition techniques, using connectors and discoursive devices

Procedure

1. Work in groups. You can work in groups from 3 to 5 students

2. Create a Slide Presentation. You can use Prezi, Power Point, or another tool that you see fit. Each presentation must include, at least, five different parts
- Presentation of the tradition
- Historical Background
- Description and Development
- Points in favour of this tradition
- Points against
- At least two questions for debate

3. Every student must present at least one part of the work.

Assessment

The Presentation will be assessed using the following scheme
